Description:		The design and construction of a Twin Submarine Tailings Outfall complete with diffuser section. Supplied in 560 mm OD SDR9 High Density Polyethylene Pipe Work.The pipeline was constructed using a butt-fusion welding procedure for each joint and was hydraulically tested to prove the integrity of the system on completion. Main parameters: - Overall Length - 3 kilometers. - 750 meters outfall section was buried into the seabed until a depth of 17 meters, with a minimum cover of 1,3 meters. - 2300 meters were laid directly onto the seabed. - Maximal installation depth (position of the diffuser) – 280 meters. - Specially designed concrete weights were installed every 6 meters along the length of the pipeline, which guarantee the stability of the pipeline even if the pipe, at it final working position, is filled with air.
